Henry McDonagh III is a three-time Grammy nominated musician with over 20-years of experience both nationally and internationally. 
 
Aside from The Huntington Men's Chorus, he also serves as the Conductor of the Bayside Glee Club where he was responsible for concerts and community charity events.  At the Walter H. Crowley Intermediate School 5 in Elmhurst, New York, he conducts chorus, orchestra, stage performances, and teaches Music Appreciation. Previously, he has held the office of Youth Music Director for Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church in Jamaica, New York.

Mr. McDonagh has worked as a bassist/vocalist with the original band CLOSENUF, which earned him Grammy nominations for best instrumental arrangement accompanying vocalist in 2006, 2010 and 2011.
 
Aside from his work with the New York City Department of Education and the Bayside Glee Club, Mr. McDonagh has served as music director to various productions, including Footloose, All Shook Up, Annie Jr., Fame Jr., Hairspray Jr., and Lion King Jr. 
 
Mr. McDonagh holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Music and Masters in Music Education from the Aaron Copeland School at Queens College, and has trained under Lawrence Eisman, award-winning composer Bruce Saylor, and jazz legend Sir Roland Hanna.
