The Huntington Men's Chorus

The Huntington Men’s Chorus is always open to new members.   We are a brotherhood of men who make no bones about loving our wives, children, girlfriends and our country.  We also love to perform the music of the world’s greatest composers.

 

We perform a diverse repertoire of Broadway show tunes, holiday songs, sea chanteys, patriotic pieces, spirituals and other popular music.

 

We perform 3 regular concerts per per year; on the first Saturday in May, at the Huntington Summer Arts Festival and the first Saturday in December. On occasion, we have been engaged to perform at other functions not regularly scheduled.

We welcome singers of varying levels of musical experience and training, from amateurs with little singing experience to professional musicians.  The ability to read music is not necessary.  We provide singers with CD's of their parts to help prepare them for our performances.  Our main interest is in attracting men who desire to sing as part of the unique sound of a an all-male chorus.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings  at St.Francis of Assisi Church, 29 Clay Pitts Road, Greenlawn, NY.  Rehearsals begin at 7:45 pm and go to 10:00 pm.  Rehearsals for our Spring concert begin in early January, and rehearsals for our Winter concert begin in early September.

Any man interested in joining the chorus is welcome to sit in on a rehearsal, experience what who we prepare for our performances and get his questions answered.
